Founded in 1994 by master Choreographer Dwight Rhoden and the legendary dancer Desmond Richardson, Complexions blends methods, styles and cultures by fusing classical and contemporary ballet, hip-hop, jazz, and modern techniques, resulting in a continually evolving form of dance that reflects the movement of our world – and all its cultures – as an interrelated whole.
This year in its 30th Anniversary, Complexions will perform FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, a brand-new work featuring the music of U2. In this raw and unfiltered piece choreographed by Dwight Rhoden, 16 dancers move as one to share the vibrancy of stories told by the music and lyrics from “Songs of Surrender,” U2’s latest release
